I miss you.

Friends!!! Hey friends! 👋🏼

I wanted to check in with everyone and just let you know I missed y’all! (Yes, I from Texas- we say y’all!)

Not sure if everyone knows, but my mother and I own a catering company, Elmbrook Catering, and this is our busy season! (Well all year technically is because there’s always something going on, but spring/summer is always hopping a little extra!!!) We have been catering lots of fun weddings, parties, and events! Some recent pics are below, just for fun!

Also, we took an amazing, fun family trip to Disney recently to unwind and be able to kind of unplug and spend time as a family! Blog to come on that later but here’s a sneak peak!

Anywho, just as I have missed writing for the past few weeks and life has been hectic, it just makes me wonder how much our sweet father God (Papa) misses us sometimes!

You know when you’re running 90 to nothing, have a billion appointments on your books, barely have time to go to the restroom (especially by YOURSELF if you’re a mama of littles like me 😂), and feel as if your head is barely above water?! This is me like 99% of the time.

Yet in the midst of it all, I still feel and hear my savior saying to me, “Come spend time with me.”

“Come be in my presence.”

“Come find rest in me.”
Sometimes it may be while I’m driving down the road on my millionth errand for the week. Sometimes it may be when I’m taking a shower and getting ready for bed at the end of a long, restless day. Other times it’s when I wake up and have managed to get baby down for a morning nap. Some of my favorite times are when I get to cozy up to my piano and pour my praise and heart out to my Jesus.

Whenever it is… I need my rest with my Father. I need to sing to Him and give Him my frustrations and my love and lift my friends up before Him.
Life is busy but sometimes… Jesus just misses us. If you are feeling that tug today, just start talking to Him. Believe me, He is always listening!

I love the scripture that says, “If my people, who are called by my name, would humble them, and pray and SEEK my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and HEAL their land!” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Let the healing for our land begin with us! Lord, we need it.
Thanks for letting me share my heart, loves! Have a blessed week!
Olmos There,
Crystal Olmos
