Arms up!!! 🙌🏼

When my son Pax, 6, was just starting to ride his first little roller coasters a few years ago, Jason would always say “arms up!” and it has stuck. Doing “arms up” has become a little rite of passage saying that you aren’t afraid.

Our 3 year old, Preslyn, became tall enough to ride the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train on our January trip to Disney and today, decided she was ready for “arms up!” So glad Disney captured the memory for us of all of us doing it together! (below)

As we continue to love deeper as a family and grow closer day by day, we’ve learned that God has very much made us an “arms up” family!

There are situations that have been disappointing and hurtful to us… people who have been. These are things we don’t dwell on, but they’re there. But you know what? God says, “arms up”! Don’t be afraid, surrender to me… I’m here and I love you. And that’s what we do! 🙏🏼 🙌🏼 I’m grateful for the highs and lows and all of the “arms up” moments! 🖤🖤🖤 It just shows us how good and loving our God truly is, how He’s not disappointing, and is never going to change. So arms up, my friends! Trust in a God who has your fears and hurts in His hand and will wipe every tear from your eye. You got this!
